SPRING Toddler Enrichment & Social Time: Day in the Life, Farm Care

from $85.00

EARLY BIRD PRICING!
*Secure your spot for $85 before pricing moves up $10 on March 1st*

Our animal family is excited to welcome the youngest members of your family back onto our farm for unforgettable, educational memories all year round!

Join us this Spring for a relaxed ( but busy if you want it to be!) morning on the farm in the woodsy West End of Scituate, MA.

Each week we will highlight a different aspect of life on the farm, with hands on activities, crafts, animal enclosure sessions and so much more. The Spring is a great time to join us, you’ll be the first to meet our Baby Chicks- for example!

Don’t be intimidated! We are only “lightly” structured when it comes to our toddler programs. Each week’s chosen offerings are optional, and if your little(s) prefer to wander and explore the farm on their own or hang near the toys, go for it!
After our “chat”, the farm is open for whatever form of fun suits you!

Our goal is to encourage positive, memorable exposure to farm animals; leaving all feeling refreshed and connected to nature in ways they never imagined!

This is not a drop off program, caregivers must remain with the children… but from what we can tell- they enjoy farm time just as much as the kids!

  1. EXPLORE! We are going to observe all the amazing changes in Nature going on. We will learn how the animals rebound from a long winter, and watch the farm bounce back to vibrant life! Did someone say Baby chicks?

  2. Animal learning time! Every week we will get up close to at least ONE animal on the farm (entering a pen, or letting an animal friend come out!). These interactions are always optional/comfort based. Happiness is our only goal!

  3. ART & ADVENTURE! You’re going to explore the farm, feed the animals… sometimes we’re going to make, search and match too! We LOVE to incorporate nature when it comes to crafts & art… And you’ll ALWAYS find toys!

There will be no shortage of ways to stay busy during the hour together!
Session 1 Spring is Tue/Fri… Session 2 moves to Tue / Thr… but not to worry! Come June, All 3 days return- plus a weekend option!

Please know if/when weather & schedule permits, we bring out a bouncy house.

Through these fun encounters each week, we have seen so many your little ones open up and learn about themselves in social settings. Confidence grows, memories are made, and meaningful connections to nature, art and people develop! Each child can feel comfortable socializing at their own pace.

Worried your toddler won’t want to participate in the activities? No problem! Go and explore the farm for the hour instead.  We’re an easy, laid back family farm – happiness is the goal!

*Parents/caregivers are to come with their children, this is not a drop-off program.

BOOT ALERT FOR THESE SESSIONS! (Spring can be a wet time at the farm, so be sure to come wearing waterproof boots!)

If you would like “First to know” for session announcements please send me an email.

$85 per child/caregiver, $30 for each sibling during EARLY BIRD registration. $10 increase in all price groups when it closes.

Spring is here! We are so excited to get ready for all the fun things to come this season on the farm! Will you help us?

If you haven’t been to our Toddler time, the first thing you should know is we are laid back!
Your toddler’s happiness is our goal, whatever that may look like! Each week features a reliable spread of toys, farm exploration, and casual socializing- but this session will put emphasis on age-appropriate farm chores each week. The kids love them! Washing buckets, “cleaning” stalls and pens, painting trail rocks, or doing some tidying up around the property- there will be plenty of ways you can help us prepare for the busy months to come on the farm! We will have our baby chicks needing weekly care during this session as well and some very young, very rare goats that need some socializing!

We have seen so many of your little ones open up and learn about themselves in social settings. Confidence grows, memories are made, and meaningful connections to nature, art, and people develop! Each child can feel comfortable socializing at their own pace.  We are a great “first farm”  for your toddler to explore!

Worried your toddler won’t want to participate in the activities? No problem! Go and explore the farm for an hour instead.  We’re an easy, laid-back family farm – happiness is the goal!

We can’t wait to have some simple, old-fashioned fun on the farm with you!

  • Parents/caregivers are to come with their children, this is not a drop-off program.

  • Weather permitting – Dress warm and ready for farm conditions! This is a 4 or 8-week program depending on your preference. If we have significant weather, we will move the class out a week. We will send an email the night before if there is a reason to feel that we should delay a class. We cannot offer make-up if you choose to skip a class.

  • Feel free to bring a peanut-free snack to enjoy.

  • The portable restroom will be on site for this session and all to come.

  • Additional adults can come,  add to your order here.

Things to note:

  • *We cannot offer refunds for individual days missed. The program is completely non-refundable once it begins.

  • We are a residence with a long driveway. Please park along the street in a thoughtful, safe way. You may also park in the driveway, however you run the risk of being blocked in by other registrants.

  • We are a very laid-back group and understand the day-to-day variabilities that come with toddlers. Come and do our planned activities, or come and do your own thing. Whatever makes you happy!

  • Dress warm! Weather during this time of year will be varied – maybe warm, maybe cold. Dress accordingly! We will be in our outside room  (the “coop”) for some activities here and there but we will be spending time outdoors and the weather in April/May can be varied.

  • Keep an eye on your email-  we will notify you before each class to confirm it is happening due to unfavorable weather or farm conditions.

  • We cannot offer refunds or make-ups for classes you don’t come to.

  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a session due to low enrollment. We will notify you of your options should this be necessary. Thank you!
