I have found the battery operated candles that have timers are worth the extra money you might pay for them. I always end up forgetting to either turn the candle on or more often, forget to shut it off. Before you know it, the batteries are dead because it was left on and you end up needing new ones! With the timer, you don't have to think about it and the batteries seem to last forever!
